Storm damage and insurance claims
When a storm hits, the order matters: protect the house with an emergency tarp, document the damage, then repair or replace. We handle all three, and we respond within 24 hours when the weather allows.

Signs of storm damage you can see from the ground
- Missing, lifted or creased shingles
- Dented gutters, vents or flashing
- Granules piling up in gutters and downspouts
- Water stains on ceilings or walls after a storm
- Branches or debris on the roof
Not all storm damage is visible from the ground, and unaddressed damage leads to mold, rotted decking and interior water damage. Most policies also require damage to be reported within a set time, so quick action protects both the house and the claim.
How a storm job goes
- Free storm inspection. We inspect the roof and exterior for visible and hidden damage and photograph everything.
- Emergency tarping. If the roof is open, we tarp and seal the damaged area as soon as conditions allow, so the inside stays dry while the claim moves.
- Insurance claim support. You get the photos and detailed documentation your adjuster needs, and we walk you through the process.
- Repair or replacement. Whether it's a few shingles or a full roof, the work is done with the same materials and workmanship warranty as any other job.
- Peace of mind. Qualifying systems carry 50-year manufacturer warranties on top of our 10-year workmanship warranty.
Storm work
What storm work looks like.
Photos from several different jobs, not one roof start to finish: roofs dried in with underlayment while the work goes on, the crew tied off on a steep pitch, the yard kept protected, and a finished replacement.
